Honk Loud & Proud – Just like the 1920 car parades!

WHY IT MATTERS

This event honors the passage of the 19th Amendment and reminds us that the right to vote was hard-won and must be protected. We gather to:

• Celebrate the courage of suffragists and all those who work to ensure voting equality and access

• Raise our voices for democracy - Join the national Unite & Rise 8.5 movement, a League of Women Voters initiative to mobilize 8.5 million Americans to protect voting rights and democracy ahead of the 2026 elections.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE

• 🚗 Join the parade - Decorate your car and line up at 3rd and Jefferson starting at 4:15 PM

• Attend the program - join us at Martin Park at 5:30 PM—no car required

• Dress Up, Show Up, Speak Up!
